Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 59

This 3/4" - 59 rolled edge siding measures .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder/shaper used to cut the pattern. The suggested rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension. The profile comprises a centered 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep tongue and groove with two 1/8" eased edges on the side edges. When two pieces of milled lumber join together, they create a 1/4" wide rounded v-groove on both face sides of the merged boards. There is a .006" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
