Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 57
This 3/4" - 57 channel siding measures .750" in thickness; widths are adjusted to any desired size within the parameters on the moulder used to mill the pattern. The profile consists of a 1/4" tall by 3/4" deep offset tongue and groove flanked by 1/4" tall fillets. This lapped t & g detail is a perfect profile for blind nailing during the installation process. When two milled pieces of lumber are joined together, they create a 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep channel on one face side of the merged boards. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
