Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 52

This 3/4" - 52 channel siding measures .750" in thickness; the width is adjustable to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The right side retains a 1/4" tall by 1/4" groove and the tongue side has a 1/4" tall by 7/16" tongue with a built-in .010" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of finished milled lumber are joined, they create a 3/16" channel/gap on one face side of the joined boards. The suggested rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension.
