WP-4 Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 40
This traditional 3/4" - 40 (WP-4) siding measures .750" thickness, enabling the profile to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The pattern comprises a 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep tongue & groove with a .010" void built into the joining area for seasonal changes in relative humidity. It also retains a 1/4" wide by 3/16" deep chamfer on one side edge of the design. When two pieces of milled lumber are merged they create a 1/2" wide by 3/16" deep v-groove on one face side of the joined boards. The
downloadable dxf file contains two possible ways to mill this pattern, one set of template designs for milling face side up and the other for manufacturing face side down.
