This 3/4" - 4 micro v-groove siding measures .750" in thickness, and the widths are adjusted to any desired size when milling. The detail comprises a 1/4" tall by 11/32" wide tongue & groove with a .006" void built into the joining area to allow for seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of machined lumber are joined; they create a minor 3/32" wide v-groove on both face sides of the merged boards. These designs are generally utilized when both surfaces are exposed, such as in an interior/exterior door panel.
