Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 18

This 3/4" - 18 tongue & groove paneling measures .750" in thickness, permitting the pattern to be cut from four-quarter lumber; the width can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to mill the pattern. The profile comprises a 1/4" wide by 1/4" tall tongue & groove with a 1/8" wide by 1/8" deep chamfer on one side edge. There is a .009" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of finished milled lumber are joined, they create a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep v-joint on the face side of the merged boards.
