Tongue & Groove 23/32" - 2

This 23/32" - 2 v-groove siding measures .718" thickness, enabling the pattern to be milled from four-quarter lumber; the width can be machined to any desired size within the limits of the shaper/moulder used to mill the design. The decorative profile is composed of a 1/4" tall by 3/8" wide tongue and groove with a 3/16" wide by 3/16" deep chamfer on one edge; there is a .020" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create a 3/8" wide by 3/16" deep v-groove on the face side of the merged boards.
