Tongue & Groove 11/16" - 9

This 11/16" - 9 double v-joint siding measures .687" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber; widths can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The duel purpose profile is composed of a 1/4" tall by 9/32" deep groove and a 15/64" tall by 1/4" wide tongue with a .015" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create a 5/16" wide by 5/32" deep v-groove on one face side, and a 1/8" wide rolled v-joint made up from two 1/16" eased edges, this unique pattern allows either face side of the milled lumber to be exposed.
