Tongue & Groove 15/32" - 3

This 15/32" - 3 micro v-joint tongue & groove flooring measures .468" thickness, requiring random widths of resawn six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The decorative profile composes a 3/16" wide by 11/64" tall groove with a 1/32" offset on the bottom and a 1/32" beveled edge. There is a .005" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes of relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber get joined, they create a 1/16" wide by 1/32" deep v-groove on top, with two 3/64" rolled edges and a 1/32" wide gap on the bottom, enabling the face side to close tight when installed. The opposite side retains a 5/32" wide by 11/64" tall tongue with a 3/64" rounded edge on the bottom and a 1/32" chamfer on the top edge.
