Tongue & Groove 15/32" - 2

This 15/32" - 2 tongue & groove blind nailing joint measures .468" thickness, enabling machining from resawn six-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder or shaper used to cut the pattern. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes of relative humidity. When two pieces of machined lumber are joined; they create a 19/64" wide rounded edge v-joint between the merged boards. The uniquely designed profile comprises an offset-centered tongue and groove that allows for securing the groove side before the tongue gets inserted.
