Tongue & Groove 8-1/2" - 1

This 8-1/2" - 1 Pickwick tongue & groove siding measures 8.500" wide by .875" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four, or five-quarter lumber. The highly decorative profile originated in the 1930's error, but it is still in high demand today. The embellished detail area comprises a 5/8" radius scotia flanked by two 5/16" coves that connect to a 3/8" wide half-round bead, attached to another 5/16" cavetto before starting the flat section in the center. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create an attractive pattern dimension of 2-7/16" wide. The design is laid out so that the tongue and 5/16" cove, in a brown section on the left side, is machined by the left cutter head on the machine, this design allows the width to be milled to any desired size.
