Tongue & Groove 6-7/8" - 2

This 6-7/8" - 2 channel tongue & groove siding measures 7.188" wide by .750" thickness, permitting the pattern to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The beautiful, functional profile is composed of a 6-1/2" broad line segment with 5/8" rounded edges and a 3/8" sunk fillet at a 1/2" thickness dimension on the top. The right side retains a 3/8" wide by 1/4" tall groove, the left side consists of a 5/16" wide by 1/4" tall tongue with a built-in .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a decorative 1-3/18" wide by 1/4" deep rounded edge channel with a 3/16" flat section in the center, with an exposed face coverage dimension of 6-7/8" wide.
