Tongue & Groove 6-13/16" - 1

This 6-13/16" - 1 log cabin siding tongue & groove measure 7.375" wide overall with a face dimension of 6.813" and a thickness of 1.750", requiring eight-quarter lumber to properly mill this profile on an industrial moulder. The profile comprises a 7/16" wide by 9/16" tall tongue with a 1/2" wide by 5/8" deep groove. There is a 1/16" void in the joint area left for expansion and contraction of the wood. The top consists of an 8.982" radius offset arc when two finish timbers are joined together, they will create a 3/32" (.093") drip edge for moisture to disperse from, this will keep the elements from seeping into the joint area after installation.
