Tongue & Groove 5-1/4" - 8

This beautiful 5-1/4" - 8 tongue & groove beadboard measures 5.500" wide by .750" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The decorative profile is composed of a 9/32" wide by 1/4" tall groove and a 1/4" wide by 1/4" tall tongue with a built-in .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. The top has a 5-1/4" wide exposed face dimension; it consists of a centered 1/2" wide v-groove channel with a recessed (.063") bead measuring 3/16" wide, bordered by a 2-1/8" broad flat line with a 5/32" wide chamfered edge on the right side, and a 3/16" wide bead joined to a 5/32" angle on the left edge.
