Tongue & Groove 5-1/8" - 10

This creative 5-1/8" - 10 tongue & groove siding measures 5.703" in width by .812" in thickness; it requires 6" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The detail comprises an offset tongue & groove with the void in the joint area controlled by the right axial cutter head on the machine. The top retains a 1-1/8" wide taper for moisture dispersal in foul weather. It connects to a small ogee and a 3-17/32" flat section with a 1/16" rolled edge above the groove to keep the detail from chipping.
