This 5" - 6 log cabin siding measures 5.250" wide overall by 1-3/8" thickness. The log-shaped profile consists of a 4-57/64" radius arc with an 11/16" tall area on each side of the plank that contains a tongue and groove joint for installing the boards. When two milled pieces of lumber are joined together, they create a five-inch face dimension with 1/32" of void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the boards during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
