Tongue & Groove 3-1/2" - 4

This 3-1/2" - 4 double-sided beadboard measures 3.687" wide overall, and the face coverage size is 3-1/2" wide by .375" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined from either resawn five or solid four-quarter lumber. The elegant pattern is profiled on both face sides. It is composed of a 7/32" wide by 1/8" tall tongue and groove with a .008" void for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. Both sides of the pattern consist of two 1-3/8" broad lines, divided by a 3/16" wide recessed (.015" for sanding) bead flanked by 3/32" broad beveled lines, the top edges retain one half of the profile on each edge, creating a 3/8" v-shaped beaded profile when two pieces of lumber are joined together.
