This 3-3/16" v-groove tongue & groove measures 3.437" wide by .750" thickness, and the face dimension is 3.188" wide when installed. The siding profile comprises a 1/4" tall by 9/32" deep groove with a 3/32" wide by 1/8" deep angle on the bottom edge. The tongue measures 1/4" tall by 1/4" wide with a 3/32" wide by 1/8" deep chamfer on the bottom edge. There is .008" of void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. The face side consists of a centered 3/16" wide by 1/4" deep v-groove flanked by a 1-13/32" wide straight line with a 3/32" wide by 1/8" deep bevel on each outer edge.
