Tongue & Groove 3" - 23

This double-sided beadboard/wainscot 3" - 23 measures 3.250" wide by .625" thickness overall, with a face coverage dimension of three inches, enabling the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The attractive profile is composed of a 2-9/16" broad straight flat line in the center, attached to a 5/64" wide beveled edge above the groove, the 1/4" tongue side retains a recessed (.015") 9/32" wide half round bead joined to the same sized bevel as on the opposite side. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create a decorative 7/16" wide beaded v-shaped channel on both face sides of the merged boards, exposing the desired side of the lumber.

This cad generated dxf file (purchase in the link below) contains three skillfully drafted template designs for producing knives for this creative wainscot pattern. All our innovative profiles have a proven unbroken computer numerical control (CNC) tool path expediting the production process.
