WP 305 Tongue & Groove 2-1/2"

This WP 305 tongue & groove decking 2-1/2" measures 2.500" thickness, requiring twelve-quarter lumber for milling. Widths are machined to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to mill the design. The duel purpose pattern is mainly used for decking material but could also be used in roofing applications with the v-joint facing the room below. The profile composes of two 7/16" tall by 3/8" deep grooves and two 5/16" wide by 3/8" tall tongues with a 1/4" wide by 3/16" deep bevel on one edge. There is a 1/16" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the lumber during seasonal changes in relative humidity; this will also aid during the installation process. When two milled planks are joined, they create a 1/2" wide by 3/16" deep v-joint between the merged boards.
