This 1-3/4" - 2 tongue & groove glue joint contains a 1/2" wide by 1/8" deep tongue and groove with forty-five degrees beveled edges. A .006" void in the joining area allows excess glue to escape during the assembly process. The functional pattern measures 1.750" in thickness. The widths are adjustable to any size within machinery parameters. The suggested rough wood rip size using eight-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension.
