Tongue & Groove 1-1/2" - 2

This 1-1/2" - 2 tongue and groove glue joint measures 1-1/2" in thickness; widths, and thickness are adjusted to the desired size during the milling process, it could be utilized for lumber as thin as 1/2" thickness. The profile consists of a double profile, meaning it has both the tongue and groove in unison centered on the thickness of the board. This unique layout design enables the pattern to be milled on both sides; it is then flipped over or turned end for end to choose the best face of suitable lumber for gluing. Glue joints are primarily used to produce small pieces of lumber into larger boards; they generally have a tight fit with a small amount of space (in this case, .002") for excess glue to escape from during assembly.
