Tongue & Groove 1" - 11

This 1" - 11 tongue & groove siding composes an offset 1/4" high by 13/16" deep groove and a 1/4" tall by 7/8" wide tongue. The intentional offset design retains blind nailing capabilities, making the installation visually appealing without exposed nailing marks. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create a decorative 1/8" wide by 3/8" deep channel between the merged boards. The is a .010" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the lumber during season changes in relative humidity. The overall sizes are random widths by 1.000" thickness. The suggested rough wood rip size using five-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension.
