This exterior door t-astragal 1-13/32" - 1 measure 1.406" wide by 2.921" tall, allowing the pattern to be milled laying horizontally flat using six or eight-quarter lumber. The functional profile consists of a 3/4" wide by 1/16" tall raised fillet with 1/8" round edges, flanked by a 9/32" and 1/8" cascading radiuses on top. The left side of the pattern is rabbeted 1-3/4" wide by 9/32" deep. The opposite side is rabbeted 2-1/8" wide by 15/32" deep, leaving a 21/32" width dimension in the center bar. A couple of options mills the weather strip groove. A universal cutterhead spindle could cut it on the moulder, or on a table saw and router table using a spline cutter after the machining process.
