Shutter/Louver 4-1/2" - 11

This decorative valance 4-1/2" - 11 measures 4.500" wide by .812" thickness. The profile is comprised of a 1-5/64" wide raised fillet with a 7/32" cove on the outside and an eased edge that transitions into a scotia with two small beads, connected to a series of stepped lines separated by a small half circle on the thin side of the design. These patterns are milled by the lineal foot and then cut to fit the window frame. There are two ways to install valences; on inside mount hardware, the profile is cut to a length the same width as the opening for the wooden blinds; on outside mount installations, this covers the sides of the header and the brackets. The profile is returned on itself typically by a forty-five-degree miter joint.
