Shiplap 7/8" - 3

This 7/8" - 3 channel shiplap siding measures .875" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of five-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The female side of the profile is composed of a one-inch wide, five-degree tapered rabbet. The left male side consists of a 1-1/4" wide rabbeted plow with the same five-degree bevel. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a decorative 1/4" wide by 7/16" deep groove.

Our high precision acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail, while simultaneously prolonging the milling time between sharpening.
