This 3/4" - 22 shiplap siding measures .750" in thickness, allowing random widths of four-quarter lumber for machining with a commercial moulder. The profile comprises a 1/2" wide by 3/8" tall rabbet on the right side bottom with an 11/16" wide by 3/8" tall rabbet on the left side top of the detail. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a 3/16" wide by 3/8" deep channel on the face side of the joined boards.
Our high precision acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail, while simultaneously prolonging the milling time between sharpening.
