Shiplap 3/4" - 16

This dual-purpose 3/4" - 16 shiplap siding measures .750" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The width gets milled to any desired size within the machinery used to cut the design parameters. The dual-functioning profile composes a 1/2" rabbeted bottom on the right female side, joined with a 1/8" vertical line segment that acts as a stop when joined with the opposite side in the center, connected to a 1/4" wide forty-five-degree chamfered edge. The male side retains a 3/8" wide by 11/32" five-degree taper with a 1/8" vertical line with the same angle. When two pieces of lumber are joined, they create a 1/8" wide by 11/32" deep channel on one face and a 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep v-groove on the other side of the merged boards.

Our professionally designed acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail.
