Shiplap 3/4" - 11

This decorative 3/4" - 11 shiplap siding measures .750" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber; widths are manufactured to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to mill the pattern. The left side of the profile has a 1/8" vertical edge, a 3/8" notch, and a 5/8" cove. The opposite side has a 3/16" vertical edge, a 3/8" wide rabbet, and a 5/16" wide chamfer. When two pieces of lumber are joined, they create a 5/8" comprehensive, eye-catching profile. The concave edge is lower in elevation than the beveled side; this creates a drip edge, allowing moisture to travel off the siding. The bottom retains a 3/64" gap, assuring a good fit in the joint.
