Shiplap 5/8" - 1

This 5/8" - 1 nickel gap siding profile contains a 5/8" wide by 17/64" tall, slightly angled tongue on the left. The opposing side retains a 17/64" tall by 1/2" wide rabbet. When two milled lumber pieces get joined, they create a 1/8" wide by 5/16" embellished channel with 1/16" eased corners on the joined boards' face side. This decorative shiplap molding measures random widths by .625" in thickness. The suggested rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension.
