This round edge 6-1/2" shiplap siding measures 6.500" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The basic standard profile is composed of a 5-15/16" broad line segment with a 3/8" radius edge on each side, connected to a 9/16" broad tapered line that will fit into the rabbet on the backside of the pattern, that rabbet dimension is 5/8" wide by 11/32" tall. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create a double 3/8" rounded edge with a 1/16" wide gap on the backside of the joined boards.
