Shiplap 5" - 1
This 5" - 1 resawn shiplap siding measures 5.000" wide by 1.375" thickness, permitting the use of rough six-quarter lumber. The profile is composed of a 3/16" tall by 3/4" wide rabbet on both the top and bottom side edge of the design with a 1/8" wide off-centered v-groove. After the milling process, this v-notch is used as a guide to re-saw the block of lumber into two pieces of 5" wide by 1-1/16" thickness rough-faced siding. The detail transitions from 1-1/16" on the taller side to 3/16" on the thin side of the resawn plank. We offer an alternative larger width of this design for your review and consideration,
