The beadboard profile consists of a 1/4" wide half-circle flanked by 1/16" wide sunk fillets, attached to a 1/8" deep by 3-5/8" wide stepped fillet. The half-round bead is recessed by .020" just in case sanding is required after the milling process, this will keep the half-round circle from being flattened by the sanding process. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a 4" wide face with a 3/8" wide bead detail on one face side of the merged boards.
This professionally drafted cad dxf file contains two high precision moulding template designs to create moulding cutters for this beaded shiplap detail. From just an idea in your mind to reality in your home, our moulding profiles reflect the beauty and style of your imagination; let us help design your custom pattern today.
