1/2" Radius Edge Moulding - 6

This double-radius edge moulding 1/2" - 6 measure 1.188" thickness, requiring the use of any width blank of six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The cutters can mill two 1/2" round-overs on one edge of lumber measuring 1-3/16" thickness with a 3/16" flat section in the center. The acrylic template is turned over to either side of the profile grinder reference pins to manufacture a set of right or left knives for the vertical cutter heads on the machine. This will enable all four sides of the lumber to get milled simultaneously.

Our precise cad drawings contain plenty of important information that will assist you during setup and milling of this detail. Our acrylic templates provide enough blend areas on the knives, so you will never realize where one cutter begins or ends; these specific design features will substantially increase yield during the milling process.
