Applied Moulding 9/16"

This plant on/applied molding 9/16" measures .562" wide by .625" thickness, requiring a 1-9/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The basic profile contains a 1/8" broad flat line at a 5/16" thickness on the top left. The line connects to a 7/32" radius half-circle on the right side of the pattern. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time. Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety concerns, we strongly suggest an anti-kickback device for your machinery before attempting any milling procedures that involve splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
