Applied Moulding 3/8" - 1

This plant on/applied molding 3/8" - 1 measure .375" in width by .250" in thickness. Because the pattern is so tiny, it will utilize fall-off rips of 1-3/16" wide blanks of 4/4 lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time. This profile gets commonly used in the manufacturing of cabinets and doors. It composes a 1/8" wide line segment at a 1/8" thickness dimension on one edge, connected to a 1/4" wide half-round bead.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
