Applied Moulding 2" - 13

This custom plant on/applied moulding 2" - 13 measures two inches wide by 1.500" thickness, necessitating the use of eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The designer profile is composed of a two tangent radius cyma reversa with a 3/16" perpendicular notch in the center, joined to a 1/8" wide line segment at a 1-3/16" thickness dimension on the left. This area creates a quirk when applied to a door stile or rail, the opposite side consists of a 1/16" drop in elevation off the notch that merges with a 1/8" semicircle tangent to a 1/2" cove leaving a 1/2" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
