Applied Moulding 1-5/8" - 12

This beautifying 1-5/8" - 12 applied moulding measures 1.625" width by 1.062" thickness, requiring a 1-13/16" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The stylish profile contains a 3/32" wide horizontal fillet at a 5/8" height on the top left. The short line connects to a 1/2" radius convex arc tangent to a 1/2" concave semicircle creating the downsloping s-shaped curvature, leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the design's right side. This embellishing detail can also be installed on top of a piece of surfaced four sides (S4S) five-quarter lumber as a base cap.
