Applied Moulding 1-1/2" - 63

This fancy 1-1/2" - 63 applied moulding measures 1.500" in width by .750" in thickness; it requires 1-3/4" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on industrial machinery. The detail looks fantastic as a baseboard cap. It comprises a 1/8" broad flat line at a 1/2" thickness on the top left; this creates a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber. The short line connects to a downsloping four-tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center with a 3/16" fillet, leaving a 3/16" thickness on the design's right edge.
