A bolection mould is a decorative applied profile that projects beyond the face of a panel or frame, commonly utilized in raised paneling, interior, exterior doors, and fireplace place mantels, often when the merging surfaces are at different elevations. The stylish profile comprises a cyma reversa positioned in the center flanked by a small horizontal fillet with an attached cavetto on one side connected to a height-changing half circle and radius edge fillet on the opposite side. This bolection profile 1-1/2" - 3 measures 1.500" wide by .750" thick. The rough lumber size using four-quarter lumber is 1-3/4" wide.
