This compelling Victorian picture frame 3-3/4" - 7 measures 3.750" wide by 1.687" thickness, the detail will require eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-style molder. The beautifully attractive profile is composed of a combination of sunk fillets, half-rounded beads, and graceful arcs that are tangent to french style curves, the rabbet dimension is 1/2" tall by 7/16" wide. Just imagine how lovely this frame will look when gesso is applied, and the gilding process is completed; it will always embellish the beautiful artwork in which is encased. The cad dxf file (purchase in the link below) contains three skillfully drafted template designs for producing knives for this creative pattern.
