Picture Frame 2-7/8" - 1

This intricate picture frame 2-7/8" - 1 measures 2.875" wide by 1.750" thickness, enabling the pattern to be milled from eight-quarter lumber. The attractively ornate decorative profile is composed of a 1/8" wide by 7/8" high rabbet joined to a 9/32" vertical line with a two tangent radius ogee on the left side, the top consists of a 5/16" wide half circle flanked by two stepped lines that transform into a four tangent radius french curve in the center, connected to a 3/8" wide by 5/64" tall raised fillet with another shallower ogee on the right side of the design. The rabbet dimension for the artwork is 1/2" wide by 1/4" tall, this area is adjustable in height with a simple axial adjustment of the right cutter head on the molder.
