This deep concave picture frame 2-3/4" - 3 measures 2.750" wide by 1.750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from eight-quarter lumber. The scotia-type profile is composed of a 1/4" wide half circle on the upper left, tangent off of a deep sloping 1-7/8" radius cavetto that transitions into a 17/64" wide half circle with a 5/32" wide line segment on the right side of the pattern, the rabbet for the artwork dimensions are 1/4" wide by 5/8" tall, it is adjustable in height by a simple axial movement of the left cutter head on the molder.
