Panel Moulding 2-3/16" - 1

This decorative panel moulding 2-3/16" - 1 measures 2.187" in width by .906" in thickness, requiring 2-7/16" wide blanks of five-quarter lumber for machining with an industrial moulder. The embellishing profile comprises a 3/4" broad half-round bead flanked by horizontal fillets with a 1/16" step on the top left. The drop in elevation connects to a downsloping angled line and an additional smaller bead with a subtle bevel on the design's right edge. The back side rabbet measures 1/4" wide by 7/16" tall and is adjustable by a simple axial position movement of the knives on the machinery. This beautiful detail also gets utilized as a base cap.
