Panel Moulding 1-5/8" - 16

This beautiful panel moulding 1-5/8" - 16 measures 1.625" in width by .750" in thickness, allowing 1-7/8" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining with an industrial moulder. The decorative pattern comprises a 5/16" radius half-round arc above the 1/4" wide by 1/2" tall rabbet for the panel on the top left. The partial circle connects to a 3/16" broad fillet in the center merged with a 15/16" cove and a 1/8" rounded corner on the design's right edge. We offer a couple of other panel moulds that complement these design features for your review and consideration, panel mould 1.375" - 6 and panel mould 3.000" - 1.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
