Panel Mould 1-1/2" - 27

This decorative 1-1/2" - 27 panel mould measures 1.500" in width by 1.062" in thickness; it requires 1-3/4" wide blanks of five-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The detail comprises a 7/64" broad flat line above the 3/4" tall by 1/4" wide rabbet for the panel on the top left. The short line connects to a downsloping three tangent radii s-shaped curvature in the center, joined to a convex bead, small fillet and a 1/8" cove on the design's right side. Caution: When milling this detail, the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
