Ogee 1/2" - 2

The profile composes a 1/8" tall vertical line at the bottom right corner, connected to two tangent 7/16" radius semicircles which create the cyma reversa in the center with a 5/64" elevated vertical line at the top of the design. The pattern is used for a wide range of applications, including door & window stops, symmetrical chair rails and baseboard patterns.This ogee/cyma edge 1/2" - 2 measures .500" thickness, and widths are machined to any desired size. The suggested rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1/4" wider than the milling finished width.

Our professionally designed acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail. It will also prolong the milling time between sharpening.
