This detail is milled on the right spindle so the molder's guide fence after the left spindle won't indent and damage the nosing from the sharp edge of the fence. Be advised that bullnose profiles are milled from vertical spindles, they cannot be used for making half rounds because of the extra blend area incorporated in the knife design. If you're looking to mill a half round moulding please search in that category. The opposite dilemma holds true for half rounds, they are milled from the top horizontal spindle, the blades will come very close to the bed plates, so they do not have any blend areas built into the cutters.
For knife quoting purposes use the calculator below, we have added only the important dimensions. A brief detailed explanation on how to use the calculator is located here.
Thickness = .687" / Depth of Cut = .500" (right blades).
Note: If you’re experiencing trouble printing to Full Scale, Go to File, Print Preview. Change the “Shrink to Fit” option to 100%
