Bullnose 1/4"
Bullnose 1/4"
This 1/4" bullnose measures .250" in thickness. The widths are adjustable to any desired size within the machinery parameters used to mill the pattern. The profile comprises a 1/8" radius half-round forming the bullnose edge. The knife is designed for milling on either the right or left vertical cutter heads with two shapes on both blades. A simple axial adjustment on either spindle shaft allows you to continue machining when one knife is dull or, quickly flip the right & left cutter heads to avoid axial movement. We always provide good blend areas within the design of the knives, so no one will see where one cutter begins or ends.
For knife quoting purposes, click the calculator below; we supplied the important measurements; please insert the appropriate dimension in the boxes provided. A brief detailed explanation on how to use the calculator is located here. If you would like some assistance with the dimensions, feel free to print a copy of our fraction - decimal - millimeter chart and place it on the machinery around the shop to help operators save time and increase accuracy during setup procedures.
Thickness = .250" / Depth of Cut = .280" (right blades) or .280" (left cutters).
