Corner 5/8" - 2

This 5/8" - 2 inside corner measures .625" in width by .625" in thickness, requiring 1-11/16" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The profile composes a 3/16" wide by 1/8" deep stepped fillet on the top left and right edge with a 1/4" radius ovolo directly in the center of the pattern. In addition, we offer the same detail, milling on a single design at a time.

This unique split two corner profile utilizes fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the time. Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety concerns, we strongly suggest an anti-kickback device for your machinery before attempting any milling procedures that involve splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
